FORMER DHS STUDENT & COACH CHARLIE JACKSON

DHS Class of 1946

 

My wife and I had the privilege of visiting with Coach Charlie Jackson and his lovely wife Lu, last week during a visit to the Jacksonville, FL, area.  Seeing Coach Jackson after all these years was a tremendous experience for me and brought back some wonderful memories.  I was teasing him telling him that I think I escaped his paddle.

 

I wanted to share these pictures with as many people as I have in my address book that I thought had played for Coach Jackson or had a strong connection to him resulting from his playing days at DHS and later his days as a coach and teacher.  Coach, I hope you don't mind my sharing these priceless pictures with your friends.  You have been in our hearts and minds all these years.
